About Me

My background

I have had a creative edge inherent upon birth, drawing and sketching for as long as I can remember.

My experience

I have been fortunate with many artistic life experiences. Painting with my great-grandmother at 9 years old, receiving praise and scholarships for my abilities for college as well as the artistic architectural community of Arcosanti, scenic and prop designer at Circus Flora, Welding with a creative team building Burningman, studying painting in Spain. Running a gallery and producing numerous events with local performers and musicians in the downtown Phoenix arts community as well as executing production and set up of corporate event and rock&roll for 25 years.

My vision

With passion for both visual and performing arts, I strive to surround myself with an artistic life. My background comprises forays into many aspects of the art world. Much of my inspiration comes from 13 years of traveling with a small european style circus, Circus Flora. There is a certain something within the art of old world circus that I try to capture in my work. I also have a passion for re-creating artistic interpretations of ancient maps.
